8P8C Connector
8P8C is an informal designation for the 8-pole (8-position), 8-contact modular connector. There is a mechanically-keyed version of the connector, which prevents keyed 8P8C plugs from being inserted into un-keyed jacks. Some common applications of the un-keyed 8P8C connector are: RJ45S and RJ48S utilise the keyed version of the 8P8C connector.
